Women make up approximately 14% of Canada’s construction workforce, up from 12% in 2022. However, only about 4–5% of on-site trades roles are held by women; the majority work in office, management, or support positions.

OUR COMMITMENT

Over the past few years, we’ve seen some meaningful steps forward at Carmacks. The number of women joining our company has grown, bringing in new perspectives, strengthening collaboration, and helping us move toward a more inclusive culture.

At the same time, we recognize that this is just the beginning. While we are encouraged by women stepping into leadership opportunities in both the field and our offices, we recognize that there is still important work ahead to ensure that women and all underrepresented groups feel supported, valued, and able to grow long term within our organization.
